Kashmir Conflict
The Kashmir conflict is a territorial conflict primarily between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir region. The conflict started after the partition of India in 1947 as a dispute over the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir and escalated into three wars between India and Pakistan and several other armed skirmishes. China has also been involved in the conflict in a third-party role. Both India and Pakistan claim the entirety of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. India controls approximately 55% of the land area of the region and 70% of its population, Pakistan controls approximately 30% of the land, while China controls the remaining 15%.India administers Jammu, the Kashmir ValleyLadakh, and the Siachen Glacier. Pakistan administers Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. China administers the mostly uninhabited Shaksgam Valley, and the Aksai Chin region.

Human rights abuses in Jammu and Kashmir
Human rights abuses in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir state are an ongoing issue. The abuses range from
  1.  rape and sexual abuse .
  2.  enforced disappearances.
  3.  torture.
  4.  mass killings.
  5. political repression and suppression of freedom of speech.
The Indian ArmyCentral Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Personnel (BSF)  have been accused and held accountable for committing severe human rights abuses against Kashmiri civilians.
Since the onset of the insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir in 1988, rape has been used as a weapon of war by Indian security forces; comprising the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Border Security personnel, against the Kashmiri population. The numerous rapes of Kashmiri Muslim women by Indian state forces is generally ignored. Many women have become victims of rape and sexual assault in the conflict.
There have been events of mass rape also in the history of Kashmir conflict, which include the ones carried out by Dogra troops as well as Hindu and Sikh mobs, when the conflict broke out in 1947.
According to a 1993 Human Rights Watch (HRW) report, the security forces use rape as a method of retaliation against Kashmiri civilians during reprisal attacks after militant ambushes. Most rape cases, according to the same report, have occurred during cordon-and-search operations. According to a 1996 HRW report, security personnel in Kashmir have used "rape as a counterinsurgency tactic". Scholar Inger Skhjelsbaek states that the pattern of rape in Kashmir is that
when soldiers enter civilian residences, they kill or evict the men before raping the women inside.
Scholar Shubh Mathur calls rape an "essential element of the Indian military strategy in Kashmir."

Current situation of Kashmir :

India imposes Kashmir lock down, puts leaders 'under house arrest'

Restrictions on movement and assembly imposed and mobile Internet suspended as disputed region plunges into uncertainty.
Parts of India-administered Kashmir have been placed under lock down and local politicians reportedly arrested as tensions intensify in the disputed region following a massive deployment of troops by the Indian government.
"As per the order there shall be no movement of public and all educational institutions shall also remain closed," a statement by the government of Jammu and Kashmir, which is currently under the central rule, said on Sunday night.
The order said the indefinite security restrictions will be applicable in the main district of Srinagar.
Indian media reports said some pro-India leaders from the region, including former chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah, have been placed under house arrest.
The measures came after the Indian government moved 10,000 troops to the region last week, followed by an unprecedented order asking tourists and Hindu pilgrims to leave the Himalayan valley.
Residents fear New Delhi is planning to engineer "demographic changes" in India's only Muslim-majority region by scrapping a law that prohibits outsiders from buying land in India-administered Kashmir.
The recent tweet of Kashmiri leader reveals the whole story↓
This is not only the matter of muslims or kashmirians .For God sake think like a Human being and
